Responsibilities:
• Advise on and oversee real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leases, and financing arrangements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts, agreements, leases, and other legal documents.
• Conduct due diligence reviews and title examinations to assess property ownership and identify any potential issues.
• Provide legal guidance on zoning laws, land use regulations, and environmental issues affecting real estate transactions.
• Handle closings and ensure all legal requirements and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
• Manage and resolve real estate disputes, including landlord-tenant issues and property litigation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as developers, investors, and property managers, to provide strategic legal advice and support.
• Stay informed about changes in real estate laws and regulations and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in law.
Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
Strong knowledge of real estate law, including property rights, contracts, and finance.
Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
Ability to manage complex real estate transactions and legal matters independently.
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
