Corporate Lawyer (Contract Basis)

Provis Technologies is seeking a skilled and experienced Corporate Lawyer on a contract basis to provide legal advice and support for our business operations. The Corporate Lawyer will handle a wide range of corporate legal matters, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and protecting the company's legal interests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Provide legal advice on corporate matters, including company policies, procedures, and governance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Handle legal aspects of business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
• Manage and mitigate legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings and manage any litigation issues.
• Liaise with external legal counsel as necessary.
• Create and review Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) with clients and partners.
• Review, amend, and finalize contracts to ensure the best interests of the company are maintained.
• Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations and advise management accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from an accredited law school; a Master's degree (LLM) is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate law, preferably in the IT industry.
• Proven experience in contract law, corporate governance, and compliance.
• Strong understanding of business law and commercial contracts.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound legal decisions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the IT sector or related industries.
• Knowledge of intellectual property law and technology-related legal issues.
• Familiarity with international business transactions and laws.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month
