The candidate is also expected to play a key role in the corporate secretarial department.The candidate will be situated in Mumbai and will report to the Head - Legal & Company Secretary#MID_SENIOR_LEVELWhat will be ongoing responsibilities of Corporate Counsel?Expertise in securities laws, corporate and business law.Experience in fund documentation and investment documentation.Ensuring compliance with the provisions of Companies Act and filing of all forms required under the Company Law, attending board meetings and preparing agenda, minutes and other documents as may be required.Interpersonal skills and commercial acumen will be important as he / she will collaborate with a broad range of internal groups xe2x80x93 Investment teams, Product, Finance, Tax, Distribution, Marketing, HR etc.Continually learn the dynamic changing laws and regulations of the securities and corporate law on a national and international scaleUndertake and perform in-depth legal research for laws applicable to the FT companies in India.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in law from a recognized universityCompany Secretaryship (candidates preparing for final examination can also apply)Registered with the Bar Council of IndiaRequired skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical and negotiation skillsComprehensive understanding of corporate law and securities lawsAbility to work collaboratively as a teamExperience:Minimum experience of 5 years as a legal counselMinimum experience of 3 years in the secretarial department of a companyOther Skills:Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Job Level - Individual ContributorWork Shift Timing - 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM ISTExperience our welcoming culture and reach your professional and personal potential!Our culture is shaped by our diverse global workforce and strongly held core values.
