JOB SUMMARY
The Corporate Communications Executive will support the overall communications across the company implementing communication strategies, managing media relations, and ensuring consistent internal and external communication. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to grow their careers in corporate communications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop, implement, and monitor corporate communication plans and strategies.
• Conduct research and gather data to support communication efforts.
• Develop, distribute, and track press releases and PR materials; maintain media relationships and contacts.
• Create and distribute internal communications; coordinate with departments for content.
• Organize internal and corporate events; manage logistics, promotional materials, and on-site support.
• Develop content for the company's website, social media, and digital platforms; write and edit articles, speeches, and corporate materials.
• Manage communication schedules, records, budgeting, and invoice processing.
• Develop employee engagement programs and optimize communication channels for relevance and engagement.
• Create engaging internal communication materials; guide best practices, support departments, and gather employee insights.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Hindi and Odia
• Fluency in English (read, write, and speak) is an absolute requirement.
• Basic understanding of media relations and social media platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong etiquettes in writing emails.
• Intermediate experience and knowledge of content designing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively, take direction, and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred:
• Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience and an internship in corporate communications, public relations, or a related role in a corporate environment.
• Knowledge of local and cultural nuances.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
