How We're Organized

Workplace Experience - Encompasses the comprehensive onsite workplace experience, how people interact with the workplace, on and off-site events and our overall location strategy. Departments include Events, Real Estate Strategy, Real Estate Development and On-Site Solutions, which is comprised of Document Management, Facilities, Ground Transportation and Hospitality.


CWS Engineering - Aligns several engineering functions focused on collaboration and productivity tools. Departments include Digital Workplace, Client and Production Engineering, Corporate Engineering, Spend, Data and Automation and Product Success and Delivery Engineering.


Office of Global Security - Protects the people and assets of Goldman Sachs to ensure a safe and secure environment. Assesses risk to enable the delivery of effective security, fire and life safety protocols and leads crisis management preparation, implementation and recovery processes. Includes Physical Security & Investigations, Executive Protection, Fire Safety and Crisis Management.



POSITION SUMMARY

An associate in the Workplace Experience team with management responsibility for delivering excellence in Ground Transportation function for Goldman Sachs in India, with a primary focus on Hyderabad and Bengaluru.


HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

• Core focus: Takes ownership and accountability for activity of Onsite Solutions within Workplace Experience team i.e. Hospitality (Food services and Ground transportation), Document Management Group and Facilities management.
• Support the business vertical leads in development of the Onsite Solution strategies in line with regional and global directions, to ensure the effective delivery of the various services to meet the business requirements
• Build strong working relationships and engage with stakeholders to execute the business strategy and change management at a micro level.
• Ensure strategic alignment with counterparts and stakeholders across regions
• Client focus along with managing expectations to deliver excellence while ensuring commercial effectiveness by optimizing resources, reducing wastage, cost avoidance and ensuring invoicing to the Firm is accurate
• Review operations data and provide interpretation and analysis to the team to track progress to plan for both short and long term focus.
• Risk management and control through audits, compliance and other governance initiatives
• Budgeting, expense management and financial due diligence
Present sound, persuasive rationale for ideas or opinions. Take a position on issues and influence others' opinions with persuasive recommendations


Role Overview:

The Ground Transport Associate will manage day-to-day operations of the Bengaluru travel and ground transportation program. This includes ensuring operational efficiency, driving commercial effectiveness, and managing vendor relationships. The role involves collaborating with key stakeholders to align business requirements with strategic objectives.



SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum 5-8 years of Integrated experience in Services or Business operations management in a fast-paced corporate organization with preference to Banking or Fintech industry. Experience in managing large-scale projects/operations will be a definite advantage and with 3-4 years in a leadership role in ground transportation operations.
• Manage daily operations related to ground transportation services.
• Continuously enhance service levels and manage client expectations.
• Personal integrity, initiative, leadership qualities and the ability to manage in a fast faced environment
• Effective role model/strong leadership skills
• Expertise on MS office and data analytics
• Understanding of industry evolution in the adaption of technology
• Proven ability to develop credibility with clients and to build and maintain relationships
• Strong written and spoken communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining high quality standards
• Refine processes, standardize operating procedures, and drive periodic assessments and improvements.
• Ability to navigate in ambiguity and be nimble in face of challenging/changing environment
• Must be a risk manager - identifying and managing critical and inherent business risks
• Oversee budgeting, expense management, and financial due diligence.
