What you\'ll doAs a Core Treasury IPV Manager, youll be leading the team in undertaking the valuation of complex financial instruments and handling reserving issues, assessing, and proposing changes to valuation methodologies and compliance statements.Youll be responsible for building and reviewing valuation methodologies to ensure accuracy and consistency, as well as for mentoring and managing work from sub-teams and active stakeholder engagement.Youll also be:
Supervising financial instrument valuation, PruVal, bid-offer reserving and other financial reporting in line with business requirements
Addressing valuation limitations through reserve or valuation adjustment calculations
Regularly meeting with business analysts for IPV changes and automations, including engaging with the Enterprise Solutions team
Coordinating the resolution of all non-standard queries and supporting the resolution of complex queries on processes and methodologies
Continuously focusing on the improvements, and enhancing existing valuation control solutions, including reviewing independent pricing processes and tools, assessing potential coverage developments, and implementing solutions to enhance control efficacy
The skills you\'ll needWere looking for someone with at least 12 years of experience, ideally in a valuation control or product control function. Youll also need an excellent understanding of xVA, including FVA and CVA, as well as equity derivative products, volatility surfaces, interest rate curve construction.Youll also need:
Team management experience
Working knowledge of vendor systems, such as Bloomberg or Reuters
An understanding of basic statistical concepts
Experience of working and building strong business relationships in a changing environment
