We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Senior Software Engineer in Global Payments Solutions IT.


Work Location: Pune


In this role, you will:





• Work with application team and participate in the analysis of the PayOS requirement.
• Participate in the design and development for the application of PayOS.
• Support transforming the current PayOS applications and solution aligning with our elevated Architecture.
• Support the operation of the Global Payments Solutions (GPS).
• Follow internal DevOps principals.
• Coordinating with Dev Leads, ITPMs and Architects.



Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:


• Minimum 6-8 years. Experience in JVM tuning and diagnostic for application troubleshooting and performance-optimization.
• Must have skills - Core java, Spring boot, API's and Microservices, UNIX shell scripting, REST API, Kafka, Docker, Oracle database SQL.
• Experience in monitoring and observability technologies like Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus. Experience in Scheduling tools like Control-M.. Hands-on in SQL.
• Knowledge in Payments business will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and think out of the box.
• Hands on experience on App security, memory management and threading mechanism and maintaining code quality. Hands on experience in fostering a strong engineering culture in an agile and DevOps environment.
• Track record of identifying and implementing opportunities to enable engineers to develop more productively and with high quality.
• Good communication skills, be able to talk to a variety of stakeholders including senior member

Good to have skills:


• knowledge on Google Cloud, Amazon Webservices or Azure Cloud adoption of large-scale platforms related to Payment's processing.
