About the Role: We are seeking a talented and creative Copywriter to join our team at Handpicked by Instamart. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting engaging and compelling content for our products, newsletters, and customer communications. You will play a key role in enhancing our brand voice and driving customer consideration & purchase / conversion through On-App channels. Key Responsibilities: Product Catalog Descriptions (60%): Write clear, concise, and persuasive product descriptions for items listed on Instamart Handpicked. Ensure each description highlights key features, benefits, and unique selling points. Collaborate with product managers and the design team to align descriptions with brand guidelines. Newsletter Content (20%) Develop inspiring and engaging content for newsletters to be sent out to customers. Research and write articles, stories, and other content that aligns with our brand message and appeals to our target audience. WhatsApp & Push Notification Communications (20%): Assist in crafting effective and personalized messages for customer communications via WhatsApp & App Notifications. Ensure messaging is consistent with brand tone and tailored to different customer segments. Monitor and analyze customer responses to improve communication strategies. KRAs (Key Result Areas): Quality and Creativity: Maintain high standards of writing quality and creativity across all content. Develop content that resonates with the target audience and drives engagement. Consistency and Brand Alignment: Ensure all written materials are consistent with the brand voice and style guidelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels. Timeliness and Efficiency: Deliver content within agreed deadlines without compromising on quality. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Customer Engagement: Create content that encourages customer interaction and engagement. Analyze the effectiveness of communications and make data-driven improvements. Qualifications: - Previous experience in copy writing (at-least 1 year) with some leading examples of differentiated content. Proven experience as a Copywriter, preferably in e-commerce or digital marketing. - Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. - Strong understanding of branding and marketing principles. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
