Job Purpose:
As an Optical Floor Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient functioning of the optical department's daily operations. Your responsibilities will include coordinating administrative tasks, supporting customer service efforts, and assisting in managing inventory and sales activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Service Support:
• Greet and assist customers in selecting eyewear, ensuring they receive exceptional service.
• Address customer inquiries, issues, and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Schedule appointments for eye exams and optical fittings.
• Administrative Coordination:
• Coordinate daily administrative tasks such as scheduling, phone inquiries, and email correspondence.
• Maintain accurate records of customer orders, prescriptions, and transactions.
• Assist in processing insurance claims and verifying insurance coverage for customers.
• Inventory Management:
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of optical products, including frames, lenses, and contact lenses.
• Assist in ordering and receiving shipments of merchandise.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
• Sales Support:
• Assist Optical Manager in achieving sales targets and maximizing revenue.
• Recommend eyewear products based on customer preferences, prescriptions, and budget.
• Participate in upselling and cross-selling initiatives to enhance sales performance.
• Operational Support:
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and optical standards.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the optical department and display areas.
• Collaborate with optical technicians and other staff to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
• Training and Development:
• Support training initiatives for new optical associates on product knowledge, customer service standards, and operational procedures.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably within an optical or retail environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of optical products, including lenses, frames, and contact lenses (preferred).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, inventory management software).

Pay: ?13,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
