Job Title: Cook/Chef - Bengali Cuisine Location: Nakaijuri, Onda, Bankura, West Bengal Reports To: Department Head, Hospitality, Bithi Farm Private Limited Summary We are seeking a passionate and experienced cook with a deep understanding of traditional Bengali cuisine to create delicious and authentic meals for our farmhouse guests. This individual should also be proficient in preparing appealing breakfast dishes and flavorful snacks. What You\'ll DoBengali Cuisine Mastery:
Prepare a variety of classic Bengali dishes, including fish curries, vegetable dishes, lentil preparations, rice dishes, and desserts.
Utilize fresh, seasonal ingredients, and traditional Bengali cooking techniques.
Maintain a deep knowledge of Bengali spices and flavor profiles.
Breakfast & Snack Preparation:
Create a diverse selection of breakfast items (Indian and continental options).
Prepare tasty and satisfying snacks for guests throughout the day.
Menu Planning:
Collaborate with the Farmhouse Manager to design menus that showcase Bengali cuisine and other culinary options.
Adapt menus based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
Kitchen Management:
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen.
Order ingredients and supplies in a timely manner.
Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
Education & Qualifications:
Minimum 10th Pass
Formal culinary training or equivalent experience with a strong emphasis on Bengali cuisine (at least 3-5 years)
