Position: Control-M Architect

Experience: 10+years

Location: Bangalore, Hybrid

Notice period: Immediate to 30days

Shift: Ready to work Night Shift till 11pm, it may extend till 2am.

Key Responsibilities:

--Perform complex senior-level Control-M administration and migration of scheduling components from data centre to data centre and from on premise to cloud AWS. This includes migrating, configuring, maintaining, and controlling the Control-M infrastructure as per migration plan.

--Expert in analysing business requirements procedures and problems to smooth migration of jobs flows and scheduled systems

-- Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of the Enterprise Batch Scheduling Platform

-- Knowledge of Unix and Linux OS and expert level shell scripting ability

-- Coordinate, escalate, resolve, and close any service request, incident, problem and change management issues assigned to Batch Scheduling Queue

-- Perform Patching, software implementation and upgrades to BMC Control-M.

-- Automation of operational tasks. Identify and contribute to automation activities. Implement automation that will support regular operational activities - patching, health checks, application operational task, etc.

-- Provide technical expertise in the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solution including architecting and implementing solution requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating system, and applications across the enterprise.

--Provide training and KT to staff members of Control-M

--Extensive hands-on experience in server/agent monitoring/ trouble shooting, Database management, job flow analysis and troubleshooting, job failure resolution, schedule modification, documentation and procedures required for future reference

--Expertise in utilizing all Control-M Components: GUI, GCS, CCM, Administrative utility tools, History, Forecast, Reporting Facility, Workload Change Manager and Selfcare. HA and DR expert.

--Extensive hands-on experience with Control-M batch development skills

--Participated in pre-sales demo and technical discussions

--Experience with UNIX/ LINUX and Windows Server OS

--Build and validate job flows, calendar requirements, and scheduling criteria.

--Provide job contact, escalation, and add/change/delete approver requirements

--Planned and performed Control-M installs and upgrades for various clients

-- Ability to mass update or change jobs and schedules using SQL and Control-M Xml based utilities

--Enhance reporting and monitoring reports through SQL and Unix scripts

-- Expertise in control-M features like Day light savings, File-watcher, Event management etc

--Problem management and root cause analysis.

--Team handling skills in managing 3-4-member team
