Job Title : Purchase & controlling specialist

Role Purpose :

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our team to support financial allocations, budget tracking, raising PRs/Pos and tracking to closure. In addition support PMO for aggregating project information & reporting. In this combined role, you will play a crucial role in managing financial activities and overseeing procurement processes for our technical center (Analysis of costs, tracking of complete investments till GRN etc). The ideal candidate will possess a good knowledge of purchase activities, finance, management reporting , excellent organizational skills, and the ability to network across departments to ensure the smooth operation of our technical center.
Key Responsibilities

Financial Management:
=========================
• Support for Budgeting and tracking: Support in developing and managing the annual budget, collaborating with Finance controller & department heads to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
• Cost Analysis: Conduct regular cost analysis to identify areas for optimization and cost-saving opportunities.
Purchasing and Procurement:
• Knowledge of SAP tool for purchase activities.
• Vendor Management: Support the purchase in establishing and maintain relationships with suppliers, first level quotations.
• Purchase Request/Order Processing: Manage the end-to-end process of purchase request generation, from requisition to approval and receipt of goods/services.
• Quality Assurance: Work with technical teams to ensure that purchased materials meet required specifications and compliance requirements.
PMO:
Support the PMO team in generating reports & tracking projects
Logistics support:
To track/support/deescalate logistics topics
Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with various departments, including technical teams, to understand project requirements and align purchasing activities with project timelines.
• Communication: Facilitate communication between the technical center and finance teams, ensuring transparency and accuracy in financial reporting.

• Experience: Proven experience in support to financial analysis/ purchase support/Logistics, preferably in a technical or engineering environment.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal teams and external vendors.
• Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with SAP /other ERP tools/Excel/ppt etc.
• Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to negotiate favorable terms and conditions with vendors.
• Attention to detail and ability to extract and summarize information quickly when faced with large datasets.
Candidate Profile :
