Job Description


:This is a role well-suited for a well-rounded, ambitious professional looking for a challenge. As a Financial Controller for Diagnostics Business in the India Zone, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting:

  • Focus on controlling and reporting activities (P&L, Balance Sheet, FTE planning and controlling, SG&A bridges, Sales Reporting, Evaluating cost structures, and Revenue Streams).
  • Handle special/ad hoc topics.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor financial performance against the budget and provide variance analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of long-term financial plans.
Internal Controls:
  • Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Cash Management:
  • Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure liquidity.
Leadership and Team Management:
  • Collaborate with various regions in India to gather and analyze financial information.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Strategic Planning:
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Support strategic initiatives and business development activities.
  • Evaluate financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Others:
  • Develop performance benchmarks for the zone and monitor performance against these.
  • Stay aware of trends and new digital tools that will enhance overall performance and introduce them within the zone.
  • Support in process streamlining and automation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA,CPA or CMA preferred.
  • At least 7 yearsxe2x80x99 experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
  • Understanding of business finance terms, processes, and management.
  • Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Highly collaborative, interacting cross-functionally with several departments of the business.
  • Willingness to learn about new software tools and hardware solutions.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, highly analytical, entrepreneurial environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, models, and forecasts.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Very good presentation skills and superb attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Skills (i.e., Excel, Power BI, etc.).
  • Flexibility in resolving issues and addressing changing priorities.
