JOB DESCRIPTION
You are a strategic thinker passionate about driving solutions in controllers. You have found the right team. The position will have an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and partner with Finance, P&A (Planning and Analysis) , Risk, and other groups throughout the Firm. The position will provide an in-depth understanding of Card business, financial statements, internal controls and reporting requirements. Job Responsibilities :

• Establish and maintain an effective communication and engagement model with key contacts with the Auto leaders, Finance, Project Managers, and related control groups.
• The candidate will be responsible for ensuring all the month end journals are posted on timely basis. Calculate and oversee accruals and reversals. Support the periodic Recovery & Resolution appendices and other US Regulatory submissions. Test system enhancements for financial and regulatory reporting
• Constructively escalate issues and present complex information in a clear and concise manner to Management.
• Assist in implementation of new accounting standards and reporting requirements by staying current with evolving US GAAP and regulatory changes impacting the business.
• Ensure that all the activities are clearly documented, communicated, and properly sign off. Distribute and create financial reporting to support accounting and finance teams.
• Timely closure of the books as per US GAAP on monthly basis. Perform the analytical view on the financials for Auto business and discuss the same with the Auto CFO
• Prepare and obtain sign off approval from US Auto Controllers team on all the US regulatory return submissions.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• CA /CPA / MBA Finance candidate preferable.
• Has basic knowledge of US GAAP, accounting principles.
• Has good knowledge on financial analysis and strong experience in US Financial Reporting.
• Has worked on US Regulatory returns like FFIEC009, FRY14M, FRY9C,FR2314, FR2502Q, BE10/11.
• Reconciliation & discrepancy analysis / investigation experience.
• 1-3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in accounting department (internal or external)
