Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Control Room Junior Engineer to join our dynamic team in the cable internet industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting our network to ensure uninterrupted service for our customers.

Responsibilities

- Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor the cable internet network using specialized tools to ensure optimal performance and identify any anomalies or issues.

- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly, collaborating with senior engineers and field technicians as necessary.

- Customer Support: Provide technical support to customer service teams, offering insights and solutions for reported issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

- Maintenance and Upgrades: Assist in routine maintenance tasks and support the implementation of network upgrades and new technologies.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of network performance, incidents, and resolutions. Prepare detailed reports on network status and issues.

- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all activities comply with company policies and industry regulations. Adhere to safety protocols to protect both the network and personnel.

Required Skills and Knowledge

- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of cable internet infrastructure and technology, with familiarity in network monitoring tools and software.

- Problem-Solving Skills: Proficient in diagnosing and resolving network issues with logical and analytical thinking.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members, senior engineers, and customers.

- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to identify and address network issues.

- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, supporting and assisting colleagues as needed.

Educational and Professional Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or similar are preferred.

- Previous experience in a similar role or internship experience in network operations is advantageous.

Pay: ?14,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
