:You are a strategic thinker passionate about driving solutions in Controls . You have found the right team.As a Controls Analyst within our Finance team, you will be tasked with the daily responsibility of defining, refining, and achieving set objectives for our organization. The Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Markets Quality Assurance (QA) team conducts regular detective control activities that offer direct insights into the firm's compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedures, as well as the effectiveness of related controls. Quality Assurance is carried out post-completion of the process or activity under review. This team operates independently, reviewing and evaluating a sample population.Job Responsibilities

• Execute QA tests on in-scope Markets processes by gathering data from source systems and functions, analyzing the data, and comparing it against procedures and standards.
• Document findings in the agreed format, highlighting any issues with accuracy, consistency, and timeliness, and discuss the results with the London team and stakeholders.

• Strong analytic, creative thinking and problem solving skills
• Keen attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent organizational, multitasking and prioritizing skills
• Ability to handle stress and tight deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Be skilled in performing complex quantitative analysis.
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access and Word

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Possess expertise in Investment Banking Risk and Control domains, with a comprehensive understanding of control structures and extensive exposure to firm-wide regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of data analytical tools like Alteryx and Tableau is an advantage.
• Bachelors' degree or equivalent preferred with minimum 3 years' experience in the financial services industry
