More information about Ramboll can be found here:About the RoleYour primary role will be to support our global operations in preparation of C&I related work in the Feasibility study and project phase, including but not limited to the:

  • Review of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) of the complete thermal power plant/ WtE plant.
  • Co-ordination with Process/ Mechanical team
  • Selection of Instruments, finalisation of ranges etc.,
  • Preparation of Instrument interface with piping/equipment
  • Review of Drawings, Data sheets of the instrumentation packages of complete power plant
  • Selections of Control Valve, flow elements, analysers, etc.,
  • Co-ordinations with various suppliers in Proposal and Project phase to ensure the completion of engineering documents.
  • Preparation and review of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) specifications, Data sheets, etc.,
  • Preparation/ Review of Sequential logics (Interlocks) and control loops for various key equipment in Thermal power plant
  • Knowledge in NFPA-85 Boiler Combustion Control system
  • Preparation/Review of cable schedule, interconnection charts between DCS/PLC, MCCs & JBs etc,.
  • Preparation/ Review of Process Description and plant control Philosophy.
  • Preparation of hook up drawings for instruments and control valves.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure designs meet project requirements.
  • Knowledge in Cost preparation of complete Instrumentation package.
  • Participation in HAZOP workshop
  • Knowledge in Burner controls (added advantage)
  • Site/ Shop acceptance test and report preparation
  • Assisting Performance Guarantee Test of complete Thermal power plants.
  • Review of quality documentations (ITP, FAT, SAT documentation).
QualificationsThe right person for this job will
  • Bachelor\'s degree or Diploma in Electrical/ Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Experience in design, installation, and commissioning of proven DCS systems such as ABB, Siemens, Yokogawa or similar.
  • Well versed with ISO, IEC and ISA codes & standards.
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 integration with experience in IBM ERP systems or similar.
  • Appreciate and enjoy the challenge of supporting a busy team.
  • Good English communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • In total about 15 years of experience with a minimum of 10 years\' experience in Thermal power plants or similar.
  • Independent and ability to lead the team.
  • Knowledge in EfW/WtE or CCU equipment is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of Vendor\'s standards.
  • Be diligent, focused and detail orientated.
  • You are systematic and structures in your way of working, and you are creative minded.
