We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Control & Automation Engineer to join our team As a Control & Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems and automation solutions for our organization You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and ensure the reliability and safety of our systems Control system design and implementation: Design and develop control system architectures, including hardware and software components, for industrial processes and machinery Implement and program programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), and other automation devices to control and monitor process parameters Process optimization and improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and maintenance, to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and reduce downtime Analyze process data and identify opportunities for automation, control system enhancements, and operational improvements Troubleshooting and maintenance: Diagnose and resolve control system malfunctions, equipment failures, and software bugs Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to ensure optimal system performance Develop and execute maintenance plans to ensure the reliability and longevity of control systems Safety and compliance: Ensure control systems comply with relevant safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices Identify and address safety risks and hazards in control system design and operation Collaborate with safety professionals to implement safety measures and procedures System integration and communication: Integrate control systems with other systems, such as SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems, and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) Develop communication protocols and interfaces for seamless data exchange and system integration Testing and validation: Conduct rigorous testing and validation of control systems to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability Develop and execute test plans, perform system simulations, and conduct factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT) Documentation and reporting: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including control system specifications, design documents, wiring diagrams, and user manuals Prepare reports on control system performance, maintenance activities, and improvement initiatives
