Assist the sourcing of delegated contracts in alignment with Category Manager &Contracts Manager guidancea. Develop demand profileb. Specify sourcing eventsc. Monitor technical & price evaluation of quotesd. Prepare for negotiation & selection of suppliers for major itemse. Ensure & review PO generation2. Understand requirements for services procurement for the assigned items and provide inputs to Contracts Manager in defining overall procurement strategya. Align on timelines and spend planning for the assigned itemsb. Provide initial supplier options and time / spend estimatesc. Oversee preparation of contracts plan for the assigned items (or categories) based on detailed engg3. Execute Orders & Coordinate Expeditinga. Receive purchase requisitions / expiring contracts listb. Prepare & release Request for Quotation/ Enquiry to the short-listed vendorsc. Obtain offers from vendors, and prepare a comparative statement to aid in selection of vendors, optimization of price and other commercial termsd. Develop Internal Cost Estimates for all respective category itemse. Participate in Commercial Negotiation Meetings with the short-listed vendorsf. Negotiate & finalize price for items covered under the limits of Contracts Engineerg. Set up Agreements and SLAs with the finalized vendors, specifying finalized rate, quantity, specifications, delivery schedule etch. Prepare & release the final POi. Implement escalation process within project procurement and take up with CM if necessaryj. Maintain co-ordination with inbound logistics and all commercial departments4. Monitor post-award project contract managementa. Enforce supplier feedback mechanism for improvementb. Review contractor feedback, gather feedback from expediting team, P&C, supplier5. Manage Change Order Processa. Participate in routine planning meetingsb. Coordinate supplier information / confirmation on the changesc. Additionally assess and monitor emergency situations and related procurement6. Manage Supplier Relationships at working Levela. Manage positive vendor relationships at the working levelb. Engage with vendors on a regular basis to share organizational requirements and understand their constraintsc. Gather feedback from field execution team and supplierd. Review the feedback and send reports to PCM as well as the respective Contracts Leade. Ensure contractor performance as per end-user needs and identify improvements and suggest the same to Contract Managerf. Uphold ethical values in procurement dealings and operations in line with the corporate values7. Use technology extensively to increase efficiency & control costsa. Use the SAP system optimally to drive efficiency and cost optimization in the entire procure-to-pay transaction processb. Focus on usage of technological tools like e#auction and reverse auction to improve efficiency, bring down costs and improve transparencyEducation Requirement :B.Tech / MBA / similar professional qualificationExperience Requirement :4 to 6 years of experience in the related fieldSkills & Competencies :Experience in Construction / Operation / Maintenance in Manufacturing / Exploration sites is an added advantage.
