Our accounting, finance, human resources, IT, legal, marketing and facilities management professionals work collaboratively to support Huronxe2x80x99s collective strategies and enable real transformation to produce sustainable business results.Join our team and create your future.Huron has an immediate need for an individual to join our Supplier Contracting team, with experience in vendor management / supplier contract work, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment, with primary emphasis on post-execution contract management and audit of third parties in compliance with contractual obligations, organizational policies, legal standards, and business needs. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Supplier Contracting Team in India and US, with accountability as well to the Shared Services Director in India. This role will be a key part of a dynamic Procure to Pay team. Candidate must have excellent English communication (verbal and writing) skills, outstanding business and analytical judgment, ability to navigate a complex compliance framework, and a strong sense of inclusion and teamwork. The position requires regular communication with key business stakeholders throughout the Huron business globally, and proactive and effective problem-solving skills in dealing with external suppliers, including opposing counsel. The role requires close collaboration with colleagues in the US and demands flexibility to work during evening IST hours to align with US working hours. Although the company permits hybrid work, employees can set their own working hours, ensuring a minimum of 4 hours overlap with US hours.Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Post-Execution Contract Management Specialist with a legal background (LLB) who ensures that executed contracts are managed in compliance with organizational policies, legal standards, and business needs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in contract review, conduct risk assessments, coupled with the ability to manage the end-to-end implementation and adoption of a new Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solution.Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports and helps develop Huronxe2x80x99s vendor management program for measuring and monitoring supplier performance and risk.
  • Demonstrates a robust knowledge of contract law and reviews a wide range of supplier commercial agreements including master services agreements, staffing support agreements, technology license/subscription agreements, amendments and addendums, and non-disclosure agreements for all of Huronxe2x80x99s subsidiaries globally, with most requests originating in the US and subject to US law.
  • Executes the framework for post-execution contract management process aimed to manage Huron risk, including but not limited to critical suppliers and/or high-risk suppliers processing sensitive information (such as protected health information or personally identifiable information), Huron and supplier obligations, and supplier performance.
  • Perform audits of suppliers and compliance reviews with contract terms. Request and document periodic attestations regarding adherence to contract terms and/or compliance requirements with suppliers including but not limited to such terms or requirements regarding permitted uses and restrictions, return or destruction of data, completion of background checks, compliance with applicable laws, or provision of supplemental documentation (such as certificates of insurance or data processing annexures).
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address any identified non-compliance or deviations from contract terms or other executed contract-related queries, interpretations, or issues.
  • Performs CLM support duties as assigned for all contracting teams. Tasks may include building and distributing reporting, contract abstraction, tagging and reviewing metadata, tracking high risk contracts, expiring contracts, system administration, or other work related to Huronxe2x80x99s initiatives and systems.
  • Maintains playbooks for auditing supplier contracts to Huronxe2x80x99s contracting standards.
  • Develops operational metrics to measure supplier risk, contract compliance, and supplier performance.
  • Prepare documentation and reports to support internal or external audits related to supplier compliance and contract management.
  • Track and address audit findings by implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Fosters collaborative working relationships with Huron global stakeholders including executives, corporate departments, and field staff headquartered in the US, as well as with Huron suppliers. Assists and guides engagement owners/partners within the business on contract process questions.
  • Leads projects as assigned related to goals and initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) required; an advanced degree or certification in contract management or legal technology is a plus.
  • 6+ - 8 years of experience in commercial contracting supporting contract management, compliance, audit, or a related role.
  • Experience building and improving processes, with a focus on measurement and results.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly to both internal and external customers, at all seniority levels among our internal clients and our suppliers.
  • Highly motivated, strategic, detail-oriented approach with the ability to pro-actively organize a heavy workload and demonstrate excellent analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work quickly and independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skills to effectively communicate and coordinate complex issues and projects with diverse levels of management and employees.
  • Strong legal and business judgment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Functional knowledge of Procurement.
  • Experience reviewing and understanding contractual terms, including complex commercial agreements such as master services agreements, software as a service, license, subscription, or other types of technology purchase agreements.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements for consulting services industry.
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management and CLM software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and PDF is essential.
