Position: Continuous Airworthiness Manager (CAM)
Job Location: Delhi/NCR
Key Responsibilities:
• Continuing Airworthiness Manager is responsible for the continuing airworthiness of the aircraft operated by FSTC Flying School Private Limited.
• He should ensure the following:
• Technical literatures that are required to maintain continuing airworthiness of the aircraft are available, current and up to date.
• All Applicable Airworthiness Directives (AD's & SB's) are available.
• Establishment and development of AMP.
• Get the AMP and its amendments approved by the Regional Airworthiness Office, New Delhi.
• Analysis of the applicability and effectiveness of the AMP.
• Establish the objective, standards and procedures required to maintain the airworthiness of the aircraft in accordance with recommendation of manufacturer and the applicable regulations.
• Issue work orders to MM for the maintenance task and follow up till compliance.
• Aircraft is maintained airworthy in compliance with manufacturer's recommendations and regulatory requirements.
• Aircraft is fitted with operational and emergency equipment and they are in operational condition or clearly identified as unserviceable.
• Maintain current and updated continuing airworthiness records of aircraft.
• Amendment and control of CAME.
• Journey Log Book and its amendment are approved by RAO New Delhi.
• Respond to non-compliance with continuing airworthiness requirements which arise from independent organizational reviews and regulatory authorities.
• Correspondence with DGCA in all matters relating to Continuing Airworthiness Management system procedures and documentation.
• Notify the Accountable Manager whenever deficiencies emerge which require his attention in respect of finance, resources or the acceptability of airworthiness standards.
Requirement and Skills:
• Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe maintenance practices;
• Comprehensive knowledge of:
• CAR M and any associated requirements and procedures;
• Maintenance organization manual;
• Five years aviation experience of which at least three years should be in Aviation industry in appropriate position.
• A relevant engineering degree acceptable to DGCA. 'Relevant engineering degree' means an engineering degree from aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionic or other studies relevant to the maintenance and continuing airworthiness of aircraft/aircraft components.
• Knowledge of the relevant type(s) of aircraft or components maintained; this knowledge may be demonstrated by documented evidence or by an assessment performed by the DGCA. This assessment should be recorded.
• Training courses should be as a minimum at a level equivalent to CAR-66, Appendix III Level 1 General Familiarization, and could be imparted by a Part-147 organization, by the manufacturer, or by any other organization accepted by the DGCA;
• Knowledge of maintenance standards.
