As a Continental Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of continental dishes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will work closely with the kitchen team to create a diverse and appealing menu, while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

?Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation: Prepare, cook, and present continental dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
• Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef to design and update the continental menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and guest preferences.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene.
• Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels, placing orders for ingredients, and minimizing waste.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper storage of food items and adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service times.
• Training Mentorship: Assist in training junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and kitchen procedures as needed.
• Guest Interaction: Occasionally interact with guests to gather feedback on dishes and provide recommendations.

?Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Continental Cook or similar role in a restaurant or hotel setting.
• In-depth knowledge of continental cuisine, cooking techniques, and presentation styles.
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
