Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of continental dishes according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and operates efficiently, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Support the senior chefs in the daily kitchen operations, including prepping ingredients and maintaining kitchen equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify senior chefs of any shortages or necessary orders.
• Participate in training sessions and actively seek opportunities to develop culinary skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar role in a professional kitchen.
• Basic knowledge of continental cuisine and culinary techniques.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
