Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Continental Chef to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a proven track record in preparing a wide variety of continental dishes. This role requires someone detail-oriented, creative, and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities:

1. Food Preparation and Cooking:

- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality continental dishes including pastas, sandwiches, burgers, salads, wraps, and large plates.

- Study recipes and set up menus to meet the standard and quality set by the cafe.

2. Daily Operations:

- Handle daily food preparation and duties assigned by superiors.

- Estimate daily production needs and ensure the quality of raw and cooked food products.

- Maintain the highest quality of food production, preparation, and presentation at all times.

3. Quality Control:

- Ensure that all food is prepared according to standard procedures and policies related to food preparation, receiving, storage, and sanitation.

- Maintain full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production, and presentation standards.

4. Hygiene and Safety:

- Take personal responsibility for hygiene, safety, and the correct use of equipment and utensils.

5. Team Collaboration:

- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.

- Provide leadership and management to the kitchen staff as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Continental Chef or in a relevant role within the food and beverage, hotels, fine dining, or coffee chains industry.

2. Education:

- Any undergraduate or graduate degree.

3. Skills:

- Good command of basic English.

- Excellent leadership and management skills.

- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.

- Ability to create and execute menus that align with the company's brand and image.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
