Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Continental Chef to prepare a variety of dishes with a focus on European, Mediterranean, and Western cuisines. The ideal candidate will ensure top-notch quality, presentation, and adherence to culinary standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience.

Experience: 2-4 years
Key Responsibilities:1. Food Preparation & Cooking
• Prepare and cook a wide range of continental dishes such as pasta, steaks, seafood, soups, salads, and baked goods.
• Develop and execute new recipes, maintaining creativity and originality.
• Ensure all dishes are visually appealing and meet quality standards.
2. Kitchen Operations
• Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring smooth operations during shifts.
• Monitor food inventory levels and place orders as needed.
• Maintain consistency in food preparation and portion control.
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
3. Menu Planning
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to design and update the menu, introducing new continental dishes based on customer preferences and trends.
• Customize dishes for special dietary requirements (e.g., gluten-free, vegan, etc.).
4. Cost & Waste Management
• Ensure efficient use of ingredients to minimize waste.
• Monitor food costs and help create strategies to stay within budget.
5. Quality Control
• Conduct regular checks on ingredients for freshness and quality.
• Ensure that prepared dishes meet the restaurant's quality and flavor expectations.
6. Team Collaboration
• Train and mentor kitchen staff in the preparation of continental dishes.
• Foster a collaborative and respectful working environment in the kitchen.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Education: Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years as a Continental Chef or in a similar role.
• Skills:
• Expertise in European and Western cooking techniques.
• Strong knowledge of sauces, soups, and baking techniques.
• Excellent plating and presentation skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments.
• Creativity in designing new recipes and menus.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
