•Key Responsibilities: •

• Food Preparation: The Commi Chef is responsible for preparing ingredients, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning. They may work in various sections like hot kitchen, cold kitchen, pastry, or grill.
• Cooking and Plating: Under supervision, the Commi Chef assists in cooking continental dishes following recipes and the head chef's guidance. They are expected to maintain the presentation standards by ensuring food is plated beautifully and is consistent.
• Kitchen Hygiene: Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation in their designated areas is critical. Commi Chefs follow food safety protocols, clean cooking equipment, and maintain an orderly kitchen environment.
• Stock Management: The Commi Chef checks stock levels and assists with inventory management. They inform supervisors of any shortages and assist in placing orders for new supplies.
• Team Collaboration: Working as part of a kitchen team, the Commi Chef must communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.

•Skills and Qualifications: •

• Culinary Training: A professional qualification from a culinary school is typically required.
• Knowledge of Continental Cuisine: Familiarity with various cooking techniques and dishes, including French, Italian, and Mediterranean.
• Physical Stamina: The role requires long hours on your feet, working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow recipes precisely and ensure the quality and consistency of dishes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
