Roles & Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
Write engaging and informative content for the company website, blog, and social media platforms, focusing on interior design trends, project case studies, client testimonials, and design tips.
Create product descriptions for furniture, decor, and other design elements sold by the firm, highlighting unique features and design aesthetics.
Develop compelling email newsletters, promotional content, and press releases to keep clients and prospects informed about the latest design projects, events, and services.
Produce content for brochures, catalogs, and other marketing materials that align with the brand's visual and messaging guidelines.
SEO & Digital Marketing:
Optimize content for search engines (SEO) by integrating relevant keywords related to interior design, architecture, home decor, and related services.
Collaborate with the digital marketing team to ensure content strategy aligns with SEO goals and drives organic traffic to the website.
Monitor content performance and refine strategies based on insights from Google Analytics and other tools.
Content Strategy & Planning:
Contribute to content planning by researching and identifying new interior design topics, trends, and client interests to keep content fresh and relevant.
Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to develop and execute content calendars that align with marketing campaigns and business objectives.
Assist in creating content for online advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, social media ads) and promotions to drive awareness and leads.
Brand Voice & Storytelling:
Maintain a consistent, professional, and on-brand tone across all content, reflecting the firm's style and design philosophy.
Tell the story of the firm's design process, approach to projects, and the value of working with the team through compelling case studies, blog posts, and client stories.
Write content that reflects the firm's expertise in interior design while making it accessible and engaging for a broad audience.
Project & Product Descriptions:
Write detailed project descriptions for completed interior design projects, highlighting key elements such as style, functionality, and design challenges.
Craft persuasive product descriptions for design pieces, furniture, and decor, focusing on quality, craftsmanship, and design value.
Proofreading & Editing:
Edit and proofread content created by other team members to ensure high standards of grammar, style, and accuracy.
Review project and product copy for consistency, ensuring adherence to the company's brand guidelines.
Social Media & Client Engagement:
Contribute to social media content, including Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, and LinkedIn, focusing on design inspiration, trends, and firm updates.
Engage with followers and respond to comments/messages, helping to build a community around the firm's design ethos.
Research & Trend Analysis:
Stay up-to-date with the latest interior design trends, technologies, and market developments to keep content relevant and reflective of the industry's evolution.
Research competitors and market trends to identify opportunities for differentiating the firm's content and positioning in the market.
Collaboration & Feedback:
Work closely with the design team, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather insights and translate them into impactful written content.
Incorporate feedback from the team and clients to continuously improve and refine content quality.
Requirements:
Experience:
3-5 years of content writing experience, preferably in interior design, architecture, or home decor.
Skills:
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to create SEO-optimized content.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress, and basic knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO tools.
Passion for interior design and a good understanding of design terminology, trends, and aesthetics.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
Education:
A degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Portfolio:
A portfolio showcasing writing samples related to interior design, architecture, or similar industries (blog posts, project descriptions, articles, etc.).
