Summary We\'re seeking a talented Technical Content Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical engineering or a related field, coupled with exceptional writing skills. As a Technical Content Writer, you\'ll be responsible for producing high-quality technical documentation, manuals, specifications, guides, and other content to support our mechanical products and services. Key Responsibilities 1. Research, write, and edit technical content such as product manuals, installation guides, maintenance procedures, technical specifications, whitepapers, and blog posts. 2. Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other stakeholders to gather technical information and ensure accuracy and completeness of content. 3. Translate complex mechanical concepts and engineering principles into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation suitable for various audiences, including technicians, operators, and end-users. 4. Develop and maintain a consistent tone, style, and voice across all technical content, adhering to established writing standards and guidelines. 5. Conduct thorough reviews and revisions of technical documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. 6. Stay informed about advancements in mechanical engineering, manufacturing processes, and related technologies to ensure the relevance and currency of our technical content. 7. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives, providing technical expertise and support as needed. Requirements \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technical Writing, or a related field; or equivalent work experience. \xc2\xb7 Excellent written and spoken English. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of QMS and ISO 13485 \xc2\xb7 Proven experience as a technical writer or documentation specialist, preferably in the mechanical engineering or manufacturing industry. \xc2\xb7 Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. \xc2\xb7 Solid understanding of mechanical systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes. \xc2\xb7 Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences. \xc2\xb7 Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Adobe InDesign, or similar software. \xc2\xb7 Familiarity with CAD software and technical drawing standards \xc2\xb7 Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
