Our company is growing rapidly and is looking to fill the role of Content Writer/ Instructional Designer. If you don\xe2\x80\x99t fill all of the qualifications, you may still be considered depending on your level of experience.Instructional designer provides individual consultation, facilitate group learning experiences, and demonstrate leadership and ability to explain, demonstrate, and gain faculty support for integrating instructional design principles, instructional strategies, learning theory, and online best practices in the design, development, and teaching of engaging learner-centred courses. Responsibilities:-
- Performs the role of project manager for the design and development of curriculum, learning tools, and program materials for training courses, development programs, and communication items.
- Analyzes requests and defines the objectives and scope of the project to meet the desired goal(s) of each request
- Should be an expert in the development of Storyboard.
- Work with Team, creative resources, and vendors, to design the curriculum, tools, and materials
- Assists in the evaluation of existing training materials, programs, vendors of training, and "off-the-shelf" products
- Manage the overall implementation of assigned learning programs
- Develop and manage training plans
- Use MS Project as a project planning tool
- Conduct assessments to determine the appropriate method of training design for both instructor-led and e-learning programs
- Assist with the design and development of course materials using appropriate instructional design methodology
- Independently design and develop creative learner-centered, performance-based training programs, modules, and materials in multiple modalities, including synchronous remote learning methodologies, blended classroom learning, interactive e-learning modules, videos, device learning labs, infographics, facilitator guides auxiliary practice, review, and resource materials
- Utilize instructional design and performance improvement processes to analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate instructional materials and programs
- Design and develop internally branded course curriculum guides for courses and/or program components
- Build templates and coaching tools supporting products and processes
- Recommend and integrate performance improvement strategies
- Designing formal and informal learning resources and programs
- Assessing needs, analyzing necessary outcomes, and implementing appropriate learning and development solutions
- Producing training and support materials, including facilitator\xe2\x80\x99s guides, participant\xe2\x80\x99s guides, templates, tutorials, simulations, job aids, learning communities, and self-study material
- Collaborating with cross-functional project teams to develop resources and programs that support organizational initiatives
- Supporting the transition of traditional face-to-face training into blended learning courses
- Candidates will be expected to provide a portfolio of their instructional design work
- Demonstrated people-oriented and project-management skills
- Create conceptual designs that meet business requirements and develop detailed plans based on concepts
- Work with the team to determine needs, identify gaps, and find the best solution
- Use good technical writing skills to develop content and instruction for materials based on design specifications
- Collaborate with the Team to create, update, and enhance existing content
- Three years of instructional design experience and proficiency with desktop publishing software
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation tools
- Intermediate knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite development software, e-Learning Authorware such as Captivate, Lectora, Articulate, Audition, and similar products
- Instructional design degree, certification, and/or expertise is preferred
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in a relevant field plus a minimum of 3 years of professional curriculum design and development-related experience
