Your primary responsibility will be to create informative and engaging articles that provide high value to our target audience and consistently achieve rankings. You must have a solid knowledge of core SEO principles and the ability to seamlessly incorporate keywords and keyword variations into your articles. You will be expected to conduct in-depth research on a variety of different topics to ensure your articles are 100% factually correct and aligned with our readers\xe2\x80\x99 search intent. Responsibilities:
- Creating high-quality, SEO-optimized content for both the Company and our clients
- Delivering content that is factually accurate, informative, engaging, and free of grammatical errors.
- Excellent knowledge of all aspects of written English.
- Solid knowledge of core SEO principles (keywords and keyword variations, keyword stuffing, internal linking, etc.) and the ability to apply them to written content.
- Implementing feedback and suggestions as and when required.
- Adhering to our internal linking guidelines and contextually including mandatory internal links from content briefs into your articles
- Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
- Proofread and edit blog posts before publication.
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles.
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
- Promote content on social media.
- Identify customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
- Update website content as needed.
- Proven work experience as a Content Writer
- Portfolio of your best content
- Portfolio of published articles
- Experience doing research using multiple sources.
- Familiarity with web publications
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in English, Journalism, or Communications
