Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation: Write clear, concise, and informative academic content on various topics, including research papers, study guides, educational articles, and more.

2. SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to ensure content ranks well on search engines, including keyword research, on-page SEO, and meta descriptions.

3. Research: Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and depth of content, using credible sources and adhering to academic standards.

4. Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content strategy team to develop and execute content plans that align with our educational goals and SEO objectives.

5. Editing and Proofreading: Review and revise content for grammar, clarity, and consistency while maintaining academic integrity and proper citation.

6. Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, SEO techniques, and educational content developments to keep content relevant and competitive.

7. Feedback Integration: Incorporate feedback from editors, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to refine and improve content quality.

Qualifications:

1- Education: Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Education, or a related field. Advanced degree or coursework in a specialized academic area is a plus.

2- Experience: Proven experience in writing SEO-optimized content, with a strong portfolio demonstrating academic writing skills. Experience in creating educational or academic content is highly desirable.

Skills:

- Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.

- Strong understanding of SEO principles and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs).

- Ability to write for different academic audiences and adapt tone and style accordingly.

- Proficiency in conducting academic research and using scholarly sources.

- Technical: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, as well as SEO plugins and tools.

- Attributes: Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and meet deadlines, and a passion for education and knowledge sharing.
