Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation :
• Write clear, compelling, and grammatically correct content for various channels, including blogs, articles, and social media.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to create engaging content for promotional materials.
Research :
• Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure accuracy and depth in content creation.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate relevant information into content.
SEO Optimization :
• Implement SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines.
Editing and Proofreading :
• Edit and proofread content to ensure it meets high-quality standards.
Content Calendar Management :
• Contribute to the development and management of the content calendar.
• Ensure timely delivery of content in alignment with marketing strategies.
Collaboration :
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand content needs and goals.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information for content creation.
Blogger Management :
• Generating, researching, and pitching ideas for posts.
• Writing, editing, publishing, and promoting content.
• Promoting new posts using advertisements, emails, social media, and other methods to alert and attract new readers.
• Maximizing site traffic by utilizing Search Engine Optimization keywords.
Blogger Relations :
• Inviting other bloggers, experts, or other notable guests to contribute content to the webpage.
• Monitoring responses to posts via the website, social media, or other platforms to better understand the audience.
• Staying current on industry trends for possible opportunities to attract new readers or create stronger, more engaging content.
Requirements :
• Proficiency with computers, especially content management software, social media platforms, MS Office, and SEO keywords, a basic understanding of HTML.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and Digital Marketing
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or a related field.
• Candidate should have atleast 0.6 to 1.5 years of proven experience as a Content Writer or Blogger or in a similar role.
• Writing experience or Familiarity with web publications.
• Exceptional writing, research, analytical and communication skills.
• Creativity and adaptability.
• Strong understanding of the target audience and industry trends.
• Ability to sit and type for extended periods.
