Job Summary: We are seeking a creative and knowledgeable Social Media Manager to manage our social media presence, create engaging content, and execute effective social media strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current content marketing trends, audience preferences, and social media marketing techniques. The Social Media Manager will play a crucial role in driving engagement, increasing brand awareness, and supporting our overall marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Ideation & Research:
Perform research on current content marketing trends and audience preferences.
Research on content type trends and work on creative content ideation resonating with the brand personality and message to the audience.
Research on social media marketing trends regularly (type of content, graphics, videos/reels, new technologies UGC/CGI, etc.).
Study and analyze competitor brands to gain an understanding of market trends and new updates.
Content Writing and Execution:
Create content calendars as per the client and CRM brief for the upcoming month for the assigned brands.
Create engaging content according to the brand messaging and purpose.
Execute content calendars and marketing campaigns' graphics and content as per the brand requirements.
Create content for blogs, articles, websites, newsletters, or other brand collaterals according to the requirements.
Content and Graphics for Marketing Campaigns:
Create engaging and sales-generating content for brands for marketing campaigns as per the brand's requirements.
Coordinate with the marketing team (Campaign managers and CRM's) to gain an understanding of the brand requirements and align the graphics with the graphic designers/team.
Social Media Management:
Oversee overall working & posting on the social media platforms for the assigned brands.
Monitor follower growth, page insights, and timely updates of Facebook/LinkedIn covers, and profile pictures for the assigned brands.
Coordinate with the respective CRM regularly to understand the followers, page engagement, and page growth from the boosting, page followers campaigns.
Respond to DM inquiries on time for the assigned brands and pass on the inquiries to the respective CRM to further share with the client for information/query that can only be handled by the client/client team.
Keep track of the page insights and engagement metrics to plan the page/social media page/platform strategies accordingly.
Manage comments on social media platforms (respond to/hide/delete/pin) as per the comment type and brand ethos/values.
Ensure timely posting of the creatives/blogs/newsletters/other brand collaterals on digital platforms.
Plan social media content planners/marketing campaigns in advance to avoid last-minute hassles.
Ensure timely report creation for brands and ensure timely delivery to the CRM's/clients.
Ensure timely planning, creation, and delivery of brand decks for ensuring timely approvals on creatives and copies and postings.
Team Coordination:
Coordinate with graphic designers to ensure graphic deliveries for the brands.
Coordinate with the CRM's to understand the graphic and copy requirements for the brand.
Coordinate with the marketing team to align strategies and content.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in social media management or a similar role.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.
Strong understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
Experience with graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
