Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Content Strategy Lead to join our digital marketing team. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content marketing strategy, generating demand, and ensuring that all content aligns with our brand's objectives and resonates with our target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Understand the Product in Depth:
• Gain a thorough understanding of our solutions, including the problems it solves, the target user persona, current user solutions, and the value the product adds to users.
2. Understand the Pulse of the User:
• Identify and address the pain points and goals of our customers.
• Determine what aspects of our product are most appealing to our users.
3. Content and Thought Leadership:
• Develop and execute a long-term content marketing strategy across multiple channels.
• Create engaging long-form content such as blog posts, research-backed reports, guides, whitepapers, case studies, and brochures.
• Write persuasive copy for landing pages, ads, and social media posts.
• Oversee content distribution and promotional efforts.
• Foster and leverage relationships with key thought leaders and influencers through podcasts, webinars, etc., to increase market awareness.
• Analyze and report on content performance data and insights.
4. Generate Demand:
• Plan and execute lead generation campaigns using customer-facing assets.

Regular Activities:
Social Media:
• Collaborate with our design vendor to create banner images for social media posts, ideating content and design following Opus' Brand Guidelines.
• Example: Refer to our LinkedIn posts from September 2022 to July 2024.
Website:
• Work with our website maintenance vendor to publish content.
• Regularly revamp website content and conduct error audits.
• Oversee website feature checks, enhancements, and additions.
• Plan new website content and UI/UX design strategy.
• Collaborate with SEO vendors to support SEO activities with relevant content.
Content Marketing Strategy and Execution:
• Create and discuss monthly KPIs.
• Formulate a detailed content marketing plan aligning with Opus' branding and business goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create and promote content, including email campaigns, press releases, blogs, case studies, white papers, eBooks, webinars, and more.
• Innovate new content strategies to enhance brand awareness and demand generation.
• Support internal communications activities with content strategy and implementation.
• Assist internal teams with presentations, presales document reviews, and other content and design needs.
• Develop a content calendar for the following month's activities.
External Vendors and Tools:
• Engage with external vendors for content syndication, influencer marketing, and media placements.
• Identify and recommend new marketing tools to enhance campaigns.
Training and Interviews:
• Train new marketing team members and participate in the hiring process.
Market Research:
• Conduct market research on strategies aligned with brand awareness and demand generation goals.
• Implement innovative ideas from research into the marketing plan.
Communication and Collaboration:
• Collaborate with content creation and design teams to ensure alignment with branding and business goals.
• Work closely with various teams (HR, Presales, Sales, Technology, Delivery, Finance, and Leadership) to execute the content marketing and social media marketing plan.
• Create content for internal communication.
### Requirements
• Exceptional written communication skills
• Expertise in content marketing, lead generation, copywriting, and storytelling
• Proficient in sales enablement and industry research
• Proven experience and knowledge of FinTech industry, products and solutions (a must)
• Strong blogging experience
