Job Overview:
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Content Creator to join our team. As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for producing engaging, high-quality content across a variety of digital platforms. You'll work closely with the marketing and creative teams to develop content that resonates with our audience, drives engagement, and supports our overall brand strategy. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, understands the dynamics of social media, and has experience producing written, visual, and video content.
Key Responsibilities:
• Content Creation: Develop and produce a wide range of content including blog posts, articles, social media posts, video scripts, infographics, and multimedia content (photos, videos, etc.).
• Social Media Management: Create and schedule social media posts across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.), engaging with followers and responding to comments.
• Brand Voice & Strategy: Ensure all content aligns with the company's brand voice, messaging, and values. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that meet business objectives.
• Content Optimization: Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and user engagement, making use of analytics and performance data to refine and improve content.
• Campaign Support: Support marketing campaigns by developing content that promotes new products, services, events, or special promotions.
• Video Production: Plan, shoot, and edit short-form videos for social media, blogs, and websites. Utilize basic editing tools to ensure professional-quality video production.
• Trend Research: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging content formats, and audience preferences to keep content fresh and relevant.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and design to ensure content is aligned with overall marketing strategies and objectives.
• Content Calendar Management: Maintain a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content across various channels and deadlines are met.
• Analytics & Reporting: Monitor content performance, gather insights, and generate reports to evaluate the effectiveness of content strategies.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience: Proven experience as a Content Creator, Social Media Manager, or similar role (0-3 years preferred).
• Skills:
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail and ability to write for various digital platforms.
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, iMovie, etc.) and graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
• Familiarity with SEO practices and tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.).
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
• Ability to create content that resonates with different audience segments.
• Comfortable with both long-form and short-form content creation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Portfolio: A portfolio of your previous content, including writing samples, video links, or social media profiles showcasing your work.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with influencer marketing or partnerships.
• Basic knowledge of photography and design principles.
• Experience in content strategy and planning.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms (MailChimp, HubSpot, etc.).
• Knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.).
