Come join the global Ingredients leader where science and creativity meet to create essential solutions for a better world!Your FocusAs Consumer Insights Associate, you will support the ISC Consumer Insight Team in projects and deliver on the assigned tasks independently.The role is Mumbai, India based and will report to Senior CI Manager.How You Will ContributeUnderstand the final objectives, key steps and deliverables expected from the projects, and how they contribute to the business.Write/adapt study documents (Screener, Questionnaire, Rotation plan). Validate study document content and ensure documents are consistent with brief received/minutes from meetings.Coordinate customer and market research projects. Coordinate project with supplier on costs, timelines & deliverables. Do or supervise project administrative monitoring and keep internal teams proactively informed on the progress of projects.Create projects timelines. Write brief for supplier (incl. Test protocol guidance). Perform on-site visits for FW audit.Assess data and execute QC on datasets. Analyze large consumer and market data sets. Contribute to create projects reports and co-present standard projects within the team.Understanding of statistical analysis for generating insights. Write conclusions and make recommendations independently. Create data reports and present findings internally.Debrief conclusions and report outputs with senior colleague/manager.Escalate critical discrepancies to direct manager, address minor discrepancies directly with vendor.Learn and execute advance data analysis techniques (Linear regression, eDNA, Free sorting, SARA etc.)Collaborate with the internal teams on the best ways of showcasing insights to clients & presenting the same to the client teams.Draft brief for vendor and request quotationInput data in pre-defined format in the organization databases for global tracking.Manage assigned aspects of local/regional projects defined as standard.Monitor projects in liaison with all relevant teams. Follow-up to ensure all actions/deliverables are done on time.What you will need to be successfulBachelor's or Masters Degree in Research, Marketing, Sciences and Engineering or Statistics.At least 3-4 years work experience of Marketing Research on the agency side as an Analyst OR Data Processing Executive.Collaboration and Interpersonal Skills:Build effective interpersonal relationships and develop a network of internal peers across other functions. Work in a highly collaborative and cross-functional team environment.Project Management Skills:Understand the interrelation between each other's tasks and take them into account to plan own tasks, especially while working with multiple teams.Functional Skills:Knowledge of different types of research (some experience in Product Testing is a must) & application of the same, different tools used for Market Research - SPSS, Cross Tabs, Quantum etc.Capacity to defend and argument on statistical choices and reasoning.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel - generating Pivots/ working with functions (fx), running VLOOKUP etc. Additionally working knowledge of Powerpoint, Word, Outlook is desirable.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Data Analytics: Sound knowledge in statistics (t-test, ANOVA, Correlations, Linear regression) and proficient at Data Analysis.Ability to generate as well as effectively showcase insights to internal & client teams.Basic Awareness & understanding of perfumery is a plus.We are a global leader in taste, scent, and nutrition, offering our customers a broader range of natural solutions and accelerating our growth strategy.
