The Team

Deloitte\'s SA&MA- Analytics & Cognitive practice can help you uncover and unlock the value buried deep inside vast amounts of data. Our global network provides strategic guidance and implementation services to help companies manage data from disparate sources and convert it into accurate, actionable information that can support fact-driven decision-making and generate an insight-driven advantage. Our practice addresses the continuum of opportunities in business intelligence & visualization, data management, performance management and next-generation analytics and technologies, including big data, cloud, cognitive and machine learning.

Work you\'ll do

As a Senior Consultant in our Consulting team, you\'ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. You\'ll:

• Gathering & documenting functional & non-functional requirements pertaining to the use cases.
• Developing detailed plan with individual effort required for delivering solution in lines of use case requirements.
• Outlining detailed solution design (Data Model, Job Mappings, Source Mappings) & test cases with directions & approval from functional & technical leads.
• Completing pre-requisites (data preparation, setting up libraries, namespace configuration etc) for development & testing of solution.
• Developing the data model, ETL & scheduling scripts as per the approved design through components outlined in Central Platform.
• Leverage best practices, frameworks (CDC, Security & Integration) and naming conventions for design & build of the solution
• Big Data Distribution: Cloudera, HPE, Databricks
• Big Data Tools: Hive, Sqoop, Spark, Kafka, DBT, NiFi
• RDBMS: SQL Server (T-SQL), Oracle (PL SQL)
• Orchestration: Jenkins, Crontab, Oozie, Airflow
