Job Title: DevOps EngineerLocation: 1st preference BangaloreOthers: Hyderabad, Delhi, PuneJob Type: Full-time:We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with 6+ years to join our team and help drive our continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes, automating infrastructure, and optimizing software delivery, with a deep understanding of software development and deployment pipelines, are well-versed in containerization and orchestration technologies, and possess strong knowledge of software development and testing methodologies.Responsibilities:CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless software delivery.Version Control: Utilize GitLab for version control and collaborate with development teams to ensure code repositories are well-managed.Containerization and Orchestration: Manage Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters in a microservices architecture to ensure scalability and resilience.Software Development and Testing: Collaborate closely with software development teams to understand their requirements and integrate CI/CD into the development process. Implement and improve software testing methodologies.Configuration Management: Implement and maintain configuration management practices in Linux-based environments to ensure consistency and reliability.Scripting: Utilize scripting languages such as Python and Shell to automate tasks and enhance system efficiency.Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and fine-tune configurations to optimize system performance.Cloud Technologies (Advantageous): Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Pivotal Kubernetes Service (PKS) is a plus.Communication: Demonstrate strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Qualifications:To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).Proven experience with CI/CD processes and tools.Proficiency in GitLab for version control.Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes in a microservices architecture.Familiarity with software development and testing methodologies.Experience with configuration management practices in Linux-based environments.Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Shell.Troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.Knowledge of Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Pivotal Kubernetes Service (PKS) is an added advantage.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.
