Job Title: DevOps Engineer Location: 1st preference Bangalore Others: Hyderabad, Delhi, Pune Job Type: Full-time : We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with 6+ years to join our team and help drive our continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes, automating infrastructure, and optimizing software delivery, with a deep understanding of software development and deployment pipelines, are well-versed in containerization and orchestration technologies, and possess strong knowledge of software development and testing methodologies. Responsibilities: CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless software delivery. Version Control: Utilize GitLab for version control and collaborate with development teams to ensure code repositories are well-managed. Containerization and Orchestration: Manage Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters in a microservices architecture to ensure scalability and resilience. Software Development and Testing: Collaborate closely with software development teams to understand their requirements and integrate CI/CD into the development process. Implement and improve software testing methodologies. Configuration Management: Implement and maintain configuration management practices in Linux-based environments to ensure consistency and reliability. Scripting: Utilize scripting languages such as Python and Shell to automate tasks and enhance system efficiency. Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and fine-tune configurations to optimize system performance. Cloud Technologies (Advantageous): Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Pivotal Kubernetes Service (PKS) is a plus. Communication: Demonstrate strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience with CI/CD processes and tools. Proficiency in GitLab for version control. Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes in a microservices architecture. Familiarity with software development and testing methodologies. Experience with configuration management practices in Linux-based environments. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Shell. Troubleshooting and performance tuning skills. Knowledge of Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Pivotal Kubernetes Service (PKS) is an added advantage. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
