Deloitte is working with global customers on cloud technologies to help unlock growth, stability, and sustainability by enabling them to spot unseen business trends through curation, transformation, and blending of data. In our endeavors for continued expansion, we're searching for like-minded individuals to help us \'take it to the next level\'.
In this exciting opportunity for an experienced developer, you will join a team delivering a transformative cloud hosted data platform for some of the world's biggest organizations. The candidate we seek, needs to have a proven track record in implementing data ingestion and transformation pipelines on Microsoft Azure. Deep technical skills and experience with working on Azure Databricks. Familiarity with data modelling concepts and exposure to Synapse.
You will also be required to participate in stakeholder management, highlight risks, propose deliver plans and estimate for time and team size based on requirements. Hence, adequate levels of communication skills and relevant experience in handling such situations is desired.

Scope of work

As a practitioner, in our Consulting practice, you will have the opportunity to build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the goal of exceeding client expectations. Here is an overview of your responsibilities:

• Drive clarification of requirements for reports
• Integrate business specific needs from a technical solution design perspective and delivers effort estimates for those solutions
• Contribute to the development of the Functional Specs from a technical design perspective
• Develop reports/visualizations based on technical solution design
• Perform Prototyping and POC in support of requirements definition or technical design questions
• Execute Unit Test, defect resolution and hyper care

Required Skills (8+years) Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights

• Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) with clear objectives
• Analyzing data and present data through reports that aid decision-making
• Convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide timeline to accomplish
• Create relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data models
• Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analytics
• Perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI
• Deep understanding of Power BI features such as filters, slicers, row level security, etc.
• Familiarity with Data warehouse development and work with SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS
• Redefine and make technical/strategic changes to enhance existing Business Intelligence systems
• Create customize charts and custom calculations as per requirements
• Design, develop and deploy business intelligence solutions as per needs
• Work with users and team members at all levels for performance improvement and suggestions
• Understanding of row level security in Power BI
• Hand-on experience working on Azure Analysis Service

Should have knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.

Proficient in making DAX queries/measures/expressions

Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set.

Able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards.

Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports

Strong knowledge of Data Management principles

Experience in performance turning Power BI reports

Knowledge of Power BI cloud, workspaces, gateways, premium capacity, publishing, scheduling, and User Access Management

NOTE: Following skills are must have

Perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI

Hands-on experience in integrating with cloud and on-prem data sources

Experience in Azure Analysis service

Preferred Skills: Experience in PowerApps / Power Platform
