As a member of the Mining & Metals team, you will embark on an exciting and fulfilling journey with a group of intelligent and innovative individuals.Scope of workAs a practitioner, in our Consulting practice, you will have the opportunity to build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the goal of exceeding client expectations. Here is an overview of your responsibilities:

• Prepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic planning and investment decisions.
• Conduct variance analysis and performance metrics tracking to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, including revenue projections, expense analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
• Monitor and analyse key financial metrics and KPIs to assess business performance and identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including accounting, operations, and executive leadership, to provide financial insights and recommendations.

Required SkillsAs a practitioner, you will work in teams led by partners, with colleagues and clientele belonging to metals & mining industry to develop innovative operating solutions by bringing in a broad perspective. As part of these engagements, you will develop a deep understanding of client issues, work in teams to build robust and executable solutions and articulate effectively to the client stakeholders.Skills required:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) certification (1st Attempt)
• 0-2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related function. (Experience in Metals & Mining sector preferred)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel & SAP).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing business needs.
