The Team

Deloitte\'s Operations Transformation services help clients to reimagine and reconfigure the inner workings of their organization, enabling them to deliver on their corporate strategy, identify and capture new growth opportunities, and to surpass their business objectives.

Work you\'ll do

The professional will work in Deloitte India Consulting. The primary role of the professional will be to manage various aspects of engagement execution including project team, deliverables quality, engagement timelines and client relationship. The professional will be expected to play a significant role in Business Development activities including identifying new opportunities, conducting research & data analysis to customize the pitch to client requirements, preparing pitch documents and client presentation. The professional will need to develop a knowledge of the firm\'s Consulting business, strategic priorities to enable sharing of insights, trends and escalation of issues/variances as appropriate. Additionally, the role will require the professional to collaborate with practitioners from other workstreams, contribute in Thought Leaderships, provide coaching to subordinates and support internal firm projects.

Core responsibilities

• Supporting client related engagements in the areas of Public Finance, Process and technology reforms, Public Expenditure Reforms, Monitoring & Evaluation, Budget process reforms
• Identify opportunities and define strategies for efficiencies in work process and innovative approaches to completing scope of work
• Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues
• Conduct relevant research, data analysis, and create reports
• Maintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products
• Assist in proposal development, as requested
• Actively expand consulting skills and professional development through training courses, mentoring, and daily interaction with clients

Qualifications, experience and work location

• Academic qualification: Chartered Accountant/Master\'s Degree in Economics/Master\'s Degree in Business Administration or any other relevant field
• Strong academic performance
• Work experience: 0 to 4 years of work experience
• Location: Kolkata or Delhi NCR. For project deliveries, there will be long duration travel to client locations

• Demonstrated teamwork within or outside a work setting.
• Exceptional problem-solving ability. Logical reasoning, creative thinking, comfort with numbers, and the ability to untangle complex issues.

• Fluent verbal and written English language skills
• Past experience of working with Government will be an added advantage
• Strong passion for consulting, ability to adapt and cope in a fast pace, challenging work hours
