We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior SIEM Solution Developer using OpenSearch to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing our next-generation SIEM solution. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including cybersecurity analysts, software engineers, and IT administrators to ensure the solution meets our security requirements and operational needs.

• Proficiency in managing and scaling OpenSearch clusters in production environments.
• Experience with programming languages commonly used with OpenSearch (e.g., Java) to help Security team craft efficient integrations, query patterns, and indexes.
• Experience with data ingestion techniques and tools for populating OpenSearch indices.
• Solid experience with OpenSearch/Elasticsearch best practices, indexing strategies, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Expertise in OpenSearch query DSL, aggregations, and full-text search capabilities.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills working in a fully distributed team.
• Sense of ownership and responsibility.
• Set up and configure OpenSearch Detectors
• Aggregation and normalization of various logs focussed on the security events
• Expertise in correlating log and security events and derive actionable insight and alerts
• Expertise in writing security rules and detection rules

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience (10+ years) developing and implementing SIEM solutions, preferably in a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go, with experience in developing scalable and performant software solutions.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat detection, and incident response.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
