For more information, please visit the website .Project Brief:PHFI Health Promotion in collaboration with UNICEF aims to reinvigorate efforts to improve the nutrition of school-age children through a focus on 'school nutrition environments\' and how these can be optimized to prevent all forms of malnutrition, including overweight, and obesity, and instill a healthy dietary practice in daily life. To enable this, the Nutrition Environment Assessment Toolkit for Schools (NEAT-S) will be adopted for schools to better understand school nutrition environments. The aim is to adopt global tools, and adapt for use in India. Collecting and analyzing data on nutrition environment in and around schools will help in identifying priority actions and opportunities for improving school nutrition environments in the country. The objectives are: * Synthesizing and strengthening efforts centered on the five themes of Lets Fix Our Food with the overarching goal of leveraging experiential data from adolescents and school systems to enhance initiatives in designing policies for fostering a nutritious school food environment.
