POSITION: CONSULTANT

About the Organization:

Desai Foundation for Change, a Mumbai-based Charitable organisation, which aims to bring positive change to the society through a variety of interventions in health and education. Through our Programme for Legal Education and Awareness (PLEA), we conduct various activities connected to the field of law.

The Profile

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about bringing in change and creating meaningful opportunities for young law graduates. The incumbent would be responsible for:

• Coordinating with various law firms, lawyers and advocates to engage speakers and experts for the programme.
• Drafting content, organize various events and assist in conducting sessions for law students.
• Increase the scale of the programme by involving more colleges and students and maintaining a relationship with the colleges and schools.
• Reaching out to colleges and schools for promoting the programme and conducting marketing drives, online and offline. This will include using social media (like WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, linkedin), posters, email and other common means.
• Drafting legal scripts as instructed by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Educational qualification: LLB or higher
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Hindi.

Competencies:

• Willingness to learn.
• Up to date knowledge of the latest legal developments and sound knowledge of the basics of the law.

Location: Chembur, Mumbai.

Remuneration: Based on experience, qualifications and suitability for the role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
