Consultant

Location: Gurgaon/Pune, India

Seeking exceptional candidates who are looking for an exciting career as a Consultant.
As a Consultant, you will work with our clients in the Automotive, Retail, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Life Sciences and High-Tech industries, helping them in their efforts to solve challenging issues. You will gain client-facing experience - regularly traveling to client sites, assuming leadership roles among their team, developing meaningful client deliverables and experiencing Kalypso\xe2\x80\x99s proud entrepreneurial and familial culture first-hand. The learning curve can be quite steep at times, but the work will help you develop a broad set of skills and enable you to explore areas that are of your interest.

Responsibilities:

• Consult with Fortune 1000 clients on key business imperatives related to innovation, strategy, and product development
• Optimize client\xe2\x80\x99s new product development processes and deploy supportive technologies like Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Project Portfolio Management (PPM), IOT, Advanced Analytics, Industry 4.0, and Cloud
• Facilitate and lead workshops and training sessions to document User Requirements and Functional specifications
• Establishes relationships with SMEs to understand complex business problems, performing application analysis for software development and implementation projects
• Design and implement PLM and ALM capabilities for Design, BOM, Manufacturing Process Management, Supplier Collaboration, ERP Integration, and others to help clients drive business model innovation, enable new customer experiences, and build new internal capabilities
• Work as Business Analyst with Solution team to develop system design, test plans and execute test scripts to validate the solution

• Integrates analytical results and recommendations into solution for client
• Seeks to understand cultural norms/communication styles of team members and leverages diverse styles on the project
• Provides mentorship and guidance to the team
• Leads the team and ensures excellence in delivery
• Superior analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
• Effective organization and time management skills, with ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines

• Undergraduate Degree, preferably in Engineering, Product Design and Manufacturing Management, Business
• Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering or Business is a plus
• 4-8 years of working experience
• Experience in Automotive, High-Tech and Industrial Manufacturing industries is a plus
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them to the technical team; attention to detail
• Strong functional knowledge in PLM preferably Windchill
• Experience with definition of user stories with acceptance criteria and building of test cases, including end user training
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to effectively communicate with business and IT stakeholders
• Good to have familiarity with engineering/CAD control processes and order documentation requirements
• Must be willing to travel* up to 80% in India, some international travel too
