Were looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.LCCI Commercial BI&A: Consultant -Japan Forecasting - GenAIWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Forecaster to join our Commercial BI&A team to work closely with the Japan affiliate team to support in predicting future business trends, analysing historical data, and providing accurate forecasts to enable effective decision-making. As a senior forecaster in the team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Japans Forecasting Team, MR team, NPP team, finance team and other brand marketing teams. Forecaster would be expected to understand data, setup processes, train junior forecasters, and build strong trust and relation with stakeholders. He/She also needs to design, develop and deliver forecasting solutions that addresses key business questions, generate business insights, and provide recommendations for the stakeholders for both launched and pipeline products.Project Execution:Forecasting -

  • Develop deep understanding of forecasting strategy, business needs, challenges, and dashboards for tracking progress to ensure high quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Japan forecasting team in creation of comprehensive forecasting solutions and platforms for Japan Affiliate
  • Forecasting to support late pipeline/ new launched brands (mainly via Epidemiologic-/ Patient-based FC modelling) and business development opportunities.
  • Dive deep into a variety of data sources to find patterns, explain trends and tie them to business outcomes. Doing adhoc analytics to answer a variety of brand performance and future opportunity questions.
  • Effectively work with cross-functional teams and communicate with global teams and stakeholders to present the final outcomes and provide recommendations as needed.
  • Develop and run FC consolidation tools across Therapeutic Areas.
  • Work with FC Team on Strategic Plan; Business Plan, supply chain forecasts, and other forecasting cycles.
GenAI -
  • Implement GenAI in BI tools to enable insight generation from data easily, quickly to make right business decisions
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends and patterns that influence drug demand and market dynamics
  • Utilize GenAI capabilities for future market trend analysis including scenario analysis and competitive landscape assessment for new product planning
  • Utilize GenAI capabilities to identify/extract the key assumptions from internal/external data sources and create appropriate forecasting model for pipeline TA/Asset forecast.
  • Implement GenAI's advanced analytics and machine learning tools to develop predictive models for pharmaceutical forecasting
  • Lead optimization of forecasting models and methodologies using GenAI
  • Stay updated with the latest AI technologies and forecasting trends to continually enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency
Requirements
  • Preferred degree in sciences or quantitative discipline, i.e., Econometrics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Sciences.
  • Overall 6+ years of experience preferred for this role.
  • 3+ years of evolving experience in Pharma Forecasting
  • 2 + years of Demonstrated expertise in GenAI or similar AI-driven analytics platforms
  • Experience in understanding existing systems, provide recommendations and implementation of discussed strategies.
  • Experience in Pharma data analytics, specifically working with IQVIA data, developing time series-based Forecasting models.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel /Excel VBA skills
  • High learning agility
  • Experience in working with business partners located in another country.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work remotely across time zones.
  • Ability to operate effectively in an international matrix environment.
Good to have
  • Experience in Python/R
  • Experience in developing solutions using PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate
  • Understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies such as SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and Azure
  • Experience with data modelling and creating business reports and analytics using Power BI
