The Institute of Public Health Sciences Hyderabad (IPHSH) is a society registered under Telangana society's registration Act 2001 and is managed by an empowered governing board comprising of corporate leaders, civil society representatives and eminent academic and scientific leaders. IPHSH's core mission areas include: establishing and governing the Indian Institute of Public Health-Hyderabad for developing public health workforce; advancing public health research and technology; and strengthening health systems through evidence informed practice and policy.The Indian Institute of Public Health (IIPH) Hyderabad commenced with a mission to deliver public health education, pursue research and advocacy and support policy development. It lays strong emphasis on pursuing public health policy, practice, training and research, positioning its programmes according to the public health priorities of the state and the nation. The institute has brought together a highly qualified and diverse faculty of nationally and internationally trained and extremely motivated public health academics and practitioners. It aims to create an environment that supports excellence in instruction, research and practice.Project Brief:A school mental health project is being launched from June 2024 It is a pilot project with the aim of building capacities of teachers on mental health literacy and skills in building emotional resilience among students. The project also aims to build awareness among parents on mental health problems that adolescents face. The program will cover 10 schools across 6 months and aims to reach out to teachers and parents through interactive workshops.Deliverables:

  • Development of the M&E protocols and forms
  • Conducting assessments and managing forms and data
  • Supporting project staff in managing project activities
  • Any other tasks assigned by Supervisor/PI.
Qualification:Essential:
  • Masters in public health, health communication, social sciences
Experience:Essential:
  • One to three years\' experience
Desirable:
  • Any experience in training
