The Firewall Engineer works with team members and system support personnel with issues related to connectivity and policy administration.Responsibilities:Assess firewall policies to identify issues such as overly permissive, shadow, and unused rules.Provide input on the risk of identified issues to drive triage and prioritization. \xc2\xb7 Assist in reorganizing firewall security policy to better achieve GoDaddy\xe2\x80\x99s network security goals and align with industry best practices.Regularly audit firewall configuration against approved security policy to detect non-compliance.Analyze firewall logs to identify potential threats and malicious activity. \xc2\xb7 Execute firewall changes in accordance with GoDaddy\xe2\x80\x99s change management policy.Assist in ongoing maintenance and monitoring of firewall health, including patch and vulnerability management.Assist in generating the configuration for the firewall using automation.Stakeholder Management:Identify and engage with project stakeholders, including senior management.Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment with client\'s goals and objectives.Continuous Improvement:Identify areas for process and technology improvements in the Network security domain.Implement lessons learned from past incidents and projects.Qualifications we seek in you!Minimum Qualifications / SkillsBachelor\'s Degree required.
