Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced
Accounts & Finance Consultant
to play a pivotal role in setting up and streamlining our Accounts and Finance department. The consultant will help define and implement accounting systems, SOPs, and financial frameworks aligned with best practices, ensuring the long-term financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Department Setup:
Establish and structure the Accounts & Finance department from the ground up.
SOP Development:
Design and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting and finance operations in line with industry standards.
Accounting System Implementation:
Identify suitable accounting software or ERP systems, oversee implementation, and ensure efficient usage across relevant departments.
Financial Advisory:
Provide strategic financial guidance to the management, including budgeting, cash flow management, cost control, and profitability analysis.
Compliance & Audit Readiness:
Ensure all statutory compliances are met (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.) and that financial processes are audit-ready.
Policy Formation:
Create accounting policies, internal controls, and risk mitigation strategies.
Team Training & Development:
Guide and mentor junior staff in adopting new systems, processes, and financial disciplines.
Reporting & Analysis:
Generate insightful financial reports and MIS to support business decision-making.
Periodic Reviews:
Conduct internal reviews and suggest process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Chartered Accountant (CA) with minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience OR M. Com / MBA (Finance/Accounting) with at least 5 years of experience in senior finance or consulting roles.
Industry Preference:
Experience in the luxury, retail, or diamond/jewellery industry preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in accounting software, Tally, ERP systems, MS Excel, and other financial tools.
Consulting Skills:
Strong strategic thinking, project management, and implementation skills
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication, training ability, and interpersonal skills.
